::: Our Mission At CED :::

Our Mission is to address the needs of the seriously
mentally ill, severely emotionally disturbed, and
their families as defined by the Alabama Department
of Mental Health and Mental Retardation Service
Contract. Therefore, the goal of the CED Mental
Health Center is to service and maintain the
consumer in the community at the highest level of
functioning possible and to enhance his/her dignity.
In addressing these needs, it is recognized some
consumers and their families may require a greater
level of care and treatment than others. It is further
recognized that services to those not seriously
mentally ill will be provided on a limited basis in
accordance with priority of need and availability of
resources.
